TROUBLESHOOTING -GT SERIES
The GT Series has a built in diagnostics system that displays potential errors on the remote control LED screen. If you see an error message, this is what they mean:
Motor 1 err : Left motor failed or connector problem. Action: Check the wiring that connects the left motor to the motor controller.
Motor 2 err : Right motor failed or connector problem. Action: Check the wiring that connects the right motor to the motor controller.
Motor err : Left & right motor failed or connector problem. Action: Check the wiring that connects both motors to the motor controller.
Bat error : Battery communication problem. The diagnostics program cannot read the battery.Action: Check the connector from BMS to motor controller or change the BMS.
Bat drain : Battery voltage is low. Action: Re-charge the battery .
Maintain bat : The difference of battery cell voltage is becoming big. Action: maintain the battery by using the recharge tool (service centre) .
Bat Damage : The difference of battery cell voltage is too big. Action: replace the battery.

TROUBLESHOOTING -BAMBOO SERIES
- red light solid = battery in board getting low, usually comes on with 30% remaining in the battery.
- red light flickering = battery in remote needs to be changed.
- green light is flashing = remote needs to be paired with board. To pair the remote with your board press the reverse button once.
- green light is flashing = remote needs to be paired with the board. To pair the remote with your board press the reverse button once.
- green light flickering = remote signal is set at maximum strength and range.
- 8 flashes = low power in battery
- 4 or 7 flashes = controller problem. See the Drive Wheel Is Not Spinning Video below and if the problem persists contact us using the form below.
- 3 flashes (must pull trigger firstly then wait two seconds for it to flash quickly) = motor or controller connection problem. See the Drive Wheel Is Not Spinning Video below and if the problem persists contact us using the form below.
Drive Wheel Is Not Spinning Video:
- Is the lamp on the battery flashing 8 times? If so the battery is flat and the board needs to be charged.
- Is the battery indicator light on the remote flickering red? If so replace the batteries.
- Is the green light flashing on the remote? If so it needs to be paired with the board by pressing the reverse button once.
- Is the green light on the remote off? If so there may be a connection problem. Please refer to our connection video for further instruction on how to fix the issue.
- If the problem still persists see our drive wheel is not spinning video and if that doesn’t get you back up and running contact us using the form below.

Drive Wheel Is Not Spinning Video:
- Make sure your hand is always gripping the remote while riding.
- Make sure you are not covering the top of the remote while riding as this can interfere with the reception.
- Make sure the board and remote batteries are not low.
- If the problem still persists please refer to our remote connection video for further instruction on how to fix the issue.
Checking Remote Connections Video:
- Check that the plug and charging point from the charger are inserted fully and correctly.
- While the charger is plugged in try wiggling the charging point in the battery box slightly to see if the red light comes on.
- Check to see if the charger fuse in the battery box has blown. Please check the video below.
Checking The Fuse Video:
This means that the remote has lost pairing with your board. Press the reverse button once to pair the board with the remote.

- Is the lamp on the battery flashing 8 times? If so the battery is flat and the board needs to be charged.
